It’s a long way away and I can’t do anything to affect it. I watch the nightly news, sometimes I read news media during the day.

I've seen the lego summary from Iran and this one from China.

Lmao is that real?

Anyway, I recommend Rev Left Radio's interview with Adnan Husain for a broader history of Persia focused on the context of the current US-Israeli war on Iran. It is very thorough but if you aren't familiar with marxist analysis some of the logic and terminology might require explanation.

This episode of theirs is also good but technically outdated.

This episode by the deprogram is also very good and far less out of date.

These are all podcasts, if you would rather read something I recommend mintpressnews, peoplesdispatch, and if you are looking for rightous belligerence with decent analysis I recommend caitlinjohnstone

Edit: i will add that if you are not a leftist some of this will conflict with your current understanding of geopolitics. I encourage you to be curious and investigate what does not make sense to you.
