Black makes it go faster, white makes it run cooler ofc

I thought red LED was faster, green was energy efficient, and blue was running cooler.

Not sure if white or black has Ork effects on system performance.

Paint it purple and the FBI cant track you.

You're absolutely right about those colours, but this is a no-LED build.

Ah, that is true mate.

I think it'd be personal preference.

Black is more likely to match most things but white looks nice if you have other white things like your mouse, keyboard, or monitors.

There is literally no difference aside from personal preference. Get whatever case you think looks nice

I've had stationary PCs sonce the 90's and never cared about led or glass, so I have of course been through all design trends during the past 25 years. I can simply sum it up as:

  • White cases make everything more visible when you're working on the hardware.
  • Black cases don't appear as dirty if you haven't cleaned it for 30 minutes.

What color is your desk/monitors? All black would be super sleek, all white would be super clean

[-] nitefox@sh.itjust.works 3 points 11 months ago

Monitor is grey, desk is brown

Hmm I say black. Definitely up to your preference too though
