A comm for Lord Of The Rings Memes!

Rules:

  1. Follow the ToS of Piefed.social

  2. Don't be too rough with each other! We're here to appreciate, and sometimes lightly rib, Tolkien's fantastic creation, and all of its derivative works. Arguments happen, but remember, in the words of Tolkien, that food and cheer and good song are what make a merrier world!

  3. AI content will be removed at moderator discretion. We ultimately want to keep AI content in this comm to a minimum, so while unknowingly sharing an AI meme might not always merit a removal, things like AI videos and the like will generally be removed.

Yeah, not sure if OP knows just how accurate this statement is. That entire film is an unfinished fever dream.

I can’t recall exactly why but somehow was in a lecture with a guy that worked on loony tunes stuff and they apparently had issues with the censors. This episode came out back when they still appeared in theaters. There is a moment where the horse turns around and he thought it was hilarious that there was just this giant horses ass filling the movie screen.

This, Daffy Duck's Blue Danube and Barber of Seville(sp?) were my first intros to classical music.

Back in the day, we got better music class on Saturday mornings than we did in actual school.
