We know how sensitive Mr. Trump is to his public perception. This community is for collecting good depictions that distort his image into accuracy, so that they may spread further.

I guess today it works for both US and Russia.

Did back then too except the USSR ain't got no money so the only hope was to shame America for it's just war against the USSR who killed ~20 million innocent civilians while it builds nuclear weapons ... Why does that remind me of something.

It also worked for both then. In that year exactly, Soviet tanks rolled up to bring revolting workers in East Germany back in line, which just like on the picture, wanted more on these other plates. 50 were killed, 15000 arrested.

Regulated, properly-taxed capitalism facilitated the most prosperous era (post-WW2) in human history. The power structure it created was more like a power gradient that, while imperfect, still allowed for an expansion of welfare and social justice worldwide. If it had maintained its flexibility it would have been able to meet the challenge of climate change head-on. But it could never outmaneuver the onslaught of foreign propaganda combined with greed of those near the top. The human traits of greed, power-lust, and violence (the hailmarks of conservatism) are the true barrier to sort out. The leftist fixation on the financial system that makes the economy turn is understandable but misguided. A strong social safety net is socialism - it's smart policy! It's not too late to realize we don't have to tear it all down to get to utopia.

Competing social models fell off capitalism in 1989. Notice the difference?

This was years before Sputnik and decades before Apollo 11.

Oh this is the caricatures community. I thought it was the “things I wish weren’t still relevant” community.

Sorry, but I don't get it.

Those 4 apparently rich guys could be from any country, perhaps including the USSR.

It'd be a cool message about gluttony and warmongering if not for the fact that it came from a pig holding his finger over a button.
