Libs like this will parrot the state line on foreign policy, and then have "passionate about human rights" in their bio.

how do anglos in Britain communicate with anglos in the US? they have completely different dialects, not to mention they literally live on different continents

[–] Enjoyer_of_Games@hexbear.net 19 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

They communicate through a intermediary population who speak in the transatlantic dialect.

"Wha..."

The Angloid Cranium desires nothing but war and destruction so it's probably easy to communicate.

[–] ThermonuclearHoxha@hexbear.net 4 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

Ah, so Angloids don't need to actually understand each other to have some limited communication by moving troops and launching attacks? That's pretty clever

Crows! Everybody knows they communicate with crows. They're really smart, y'know?

I hate when the things I say to pretend to be comically ill informed to get a reaction are said in earnest...

"How do people who don't speak english understand what eachother is saying? Doesn't even sound like words to me"

Another one to retire for being too plausible I guess

I was gonna say something about how USians are so monolingual that they can't even comprehend being multilingual, but apparently this person

I speak English, Hebrew, Russian and Arabic.

And she might not even be a USian, so what's her point? maybe that only people who go to university to study languages can speak more than one? that it's impossible for whole populations to be multilingual, including kindergarten-age kids?

Let me elaborate

wild racism

When this person talks about "tribal lineages" that "don't speak the same dialect", she means that she sees these people like they are same type of animal but different breeds. And just like how emperor penguins presumably can't communicate with emperor penguins, so it is with the kurds.

These illiterate savages are there to serve and be manipulated by their betters on the ground, hence "this piece itself serves as the means of communication". She thinks this article is there to guide the kurds handlers.

The rest are just unsources statements that could have come from anywhere, including of course the authors own copium deposits.

The fact that "hebrew" is one of her listed languages is the clue necessary to realise this person is cartoonishly racist.

She has such a myopic view of people's abilities you'd think she works in HR making job descriptions.

the same cw as I quote OP in my comment

And just like how emperor penguins presumably can't communicate with emperor penguins, so it is with the kurds.

I think you meant to list two different species of penguins.

That being said (and I know this isn't the point of your analogy, but just sharing cos it's interesting) -- birds of different species do understand one another's calls to a certain degree, whether or not the other species is the intended recipient of the message:

doggirl-lol I had a feeling that it was wrong for non-human animals as well thanks for sharing!!

Also for penguins I just opened up the wikipedia page where https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_penguin and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_penguin are listed as different species?

(If you wouldn't mind editing, you actually wrote emperor penguin twice rather than mentioning African penguins...)

Americans actually speak two languages:

1: English 2: Violence

[–] context@hexbear.net 27 points 1 day ago (1 children)

they don't speak the same dialect but they're avid readers of english-language reuters articles

[–] ThermonuclearHoxha@hexbear.net 3 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago)

Since the dialects aren't mutually intelligible, how does the BBC know what the Reuters articles say to translate them into British? In Arabic, there's a Modern Standard Arabic so that speakers of different dialects can communicate. Is there an equivalent for Angloids, and is it just violence?
