Lol. They put a Diablo demon in COD. Western culture everyone. People are handing over actual sums of money to pay for what would have amounted to a jokey mod back in the glory days of gaming.

Ever since like Day Z every shooter has just been some spin off of the arena shooter or battle royale. Honestly it's all just a blur to me as the casual observer, you look down one gun sight in a game you've seen 'em all.

i don't get how battle royale is still going
i'm extremely into the concept and i still got burnt out on it in the arma mod

It's just this blob to me. I remember the arma mod and that was cool but since then? Yeesh

They're not even arena shooters tbh; they're this Pentagon-funded abomination with dozens of crutches to sand off the 'rough edges' of arena standards for mass appeal with the same 30 to 45 real-world weapons every iteration

I'd rather go back to a full re-release with NO upscaling or remastering of Quake 3 or UT2k4 over the latest CoD, Battlefield, or Halo

they turned cod & battlefield into arena shooters? lmao

I haven't played either in 10+ years

I still remember when there was going to be a TF2 show on adult swim, and then Valve just forgor the deadline and pocketed the money from the venture bros. cosmetics.
