"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

OpenAI closes deal with U.S. Department of War

At this point, if I find that my bank has investments into AI stocks I'm closing my account just like I did with Facebook, Twitter, Windows. Fuck these vultures. I'm petty as hell and I'd rather die with a smile on my face just to spite these guysπŸ–•πŸ–•πŸ–•πŸ–•πŸ–•

What if I’ve never used it? Can I still cancel it? Can I not use it harder?

I noticed chatgpt was using memories I thought I turned off when it said something really hurtful. I decided to close my account and now I use my own Ollama. Gemma is kinda just as fast but a little stupid, the key is to make sure the model is well informed with enough search results.

Open Webui feels more like chatgpts frontend.

β€œGoes big” claim with zero evidence other than a few people on social media are complaining.
