Let me explain: they think they're omnipotent, but every war is a risk. All it takes is one war that doesn't go the way they expect (just one) and they lose their position.
To see our Prime Minister support a completely illegal and unjustified war is beyond galling.
Sure, I had concerns about having a central banker for PM, but after campaigning on ‘elbows up’ I didn’t expect a hawkish toadie of the USA.
Between Carney and Poilievre, the better of the two seemed pretty clear and still does. Doesn't mean it was a great choice.
Frankly, I'm surprised we aren't seeing more floor crosses though. If you can choose to be part of a Conservative party in opposition or a Conservative party in government, why choose opposition?

If...and that's a big IF...the orange shit-stain had taken the appropriate steps through congress, then maybe you could be standing giving your support. But as it is, this is illegal by ANY standard of the law.
I do not support any military action by the sitting US president at this time. They have extensively outlined a plan to use war as a means to dismantle democracy.
So even if I agreed with the need for intervention, which I don't, the president's office cannot be held accountable to spearhead that action.
Expected for what at the end of the day is a western imperialist.
