A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

It would be super cool if TV and radio stations were also organized based on this cool new AI map. Maybe their station call letters could use something like K for west, and W for east. Just to keep it from getting confusing.

Part of Louisiana is east of the Sippi and so is parts of Minnesota.
Technically, parts of Minnesota are north of it, but the least it could have done is use the actual Mississippi or to just not throw that phrase in at all in the labels.

This is a standard division of US states for East/West regions. It "rounds" to the state borders for MN and LA
My point being the "of the Mississippi" in the labels just throws away any plausible deniability they didn't just grab the standard East/West division...

I don't think there's any denial at play. I think it's more about the OP being so enthusiastic in not realizing that this "AI innovation" is something in use since the 1920s. The brain rot and trust in the LLM is so severe that "AI made" this 100-year-old way of dividing East/West based on the Mississippi River.

Really, just use /s like a normal person to convey sarcasm. There's a lot of people on here who say what they mean and ask naive or straightforward questions because they just don't know or English isn't their first language. I don't know if you're German or have a sense of humor, so I answered what seemed like a real statement with a real response. Which also shouldn't illicit some dickbag retort - this isn't reddit. A large chunk of that space in LA is called "the Florida parishes" because they were part of the Florida territory before they were a part of Louisiana.
