Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

This is when you should tip.
Why? We don't know anything about this guy. Maybe he was dumped because he was cheating on her, or abusing her, maybe he was kicked out because he hadn't paid rent in six months.
Maybe it's a dick move to assume the negatives. Maybe he has opportunity to learn a lesson. Maybe he's on the verge of homelessness regardless. Maybe he's still a fucking human.
But why does that mean I should tip?
To quote an eastern european woman who said this to her 10 year old kid on the subway: "you see homeless, you give money."
probably because he's willing to still take the trip even though his life seemingly went to the gutter.
Also he seems considerate enough to let the passenger know, and if it WAS his fault he seems understanding of it
The fact that he's communicating his misfortune openly to a stranger kinda speaks against him being an asshole. I'll give him the benefit and take that ride.
And be the one that has to pay the cancelation fee? Not a fucking chance.
AC/DC was my introduction to the "magic" of music. I didn't like any of the stuff that was popular as a kid in the 90's. But I was lying awake one night, flipping through the FM channels on my Walkman when I landed on the local classic rock station and the sound of Hells Bells playing. I was hooked. My tastes are a lot more varied now but classic rock still has a special place for me.
All that to say, you bet your ass I'm getting in that car and joining in with the best impression of Brian Johnson's "crotch on barbed wire" my vocal cords can muster.
If it was led Zeppelin, I'm in. AC/DC? I'm out.
