In an interview at the Munich security conference, Clinton urged the Trump administration to ‘get the files out’

Hillary Clinton has accused the Trump administration of a “cover-up” over the Epstein files, while claiming that she and her husband are being forced to testify before Congress to deflect scrutiny from Donald Trump.

In an interview with the BBC, Clinton said the US Department of Justice was “slow-walking” the release of documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein’s catalogue of crimes and urged the administration to “get the files out”. Despite periodic document dumps of the files since Congress mandated their release late last year, the justice department is still withholding about 3m files.

Clinton’s comments, at the Munich security conference, came as she and her husband, Bill Clinton, the former president, prepare to give sworn depositions on the affair before the House oversight committee.

We don't really need your participation here Hillary.

It's like if the slowpoke meme and the fellow kids meme had a baby and it tried to claim it was steering the boat while waterskiing.

I don't see how invading poland will help the current situation

[–] Stormy@thelemmy.club 1 points 2 days ago

I appreciate it.

Clinton asking for what everyone here has been asking for, yet because she's a neoliberal who lost to Trump, the responses will not be supportive.

I would prefer if she shut all the way the fuck up forever. She can only hurt our efforts to build a coalition. There are a lot of people we need to reach that will see her on one side and decide they are automatically on the other side.

I'm not saying these are smart people or that they are good people, I'm saying they are people, there are a lot of them, and they hate her. So, she is fucking poison.

She should know that she's not helping anybody but I guess the blinders are too thick

I do also but this wasn’t unprompted, it is calling out the circus for her upcoming deposition as abhorrent behavior that took place by this countries elite are swept under the rug. I would expect anyone facing similarly bs to say in effect “here I go, forced to play your bullshit game, how about you release all the fucking files you were supposed to have released by last year and cut out the bs reactions, let everyone stand or fall on the truth. As a matter of fact how about we do this all over live broadcast and you depose everyone that’s been involved.

I would prefer if she shut all the way the fuck up forever. She can only hurt our efforts to build a coalition

rAmen, my sibling in starch!

She should know that she's not helping anybody but I guess the blinders are too thick

That's the problem, though. She IS helping the Neoliberal establishment politicians, "journalists", and strategists who would like nothing more than to return to 1992 and for whom hanging on her every word is profitable.

You're right that she isn't helping anyone who ever SHOULD be helped, though 🤷

Exactly.
Now focus people : put the damn pedophiles in prison, is this plain enough ?

Go away, Hillary!

Even when she's right about anything, she's so far behind the curve of what the people REALLY want that she inevitably stands in the way.

The irony is Hillary covered for Bill for decades even before they were friends with trump...

You know, I’m not sitting here, some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette,” she said, wearing gold earrings and a black headband, perched next to him on a couch in a hotel suite in Boston and waving her clenched right hand. “I’m sitting here because I love him, and I respect him, and I honor what he’s been through and what we’ve been through together. And you know, if that’s not enough for people, then heck—don’t vote for him.”

This was America’s introduction to Hillary Clinton, and it worked—for her husband. What she did on 60 Minutes saved his candidacy and his political career. Most agree he would not have become president without it.

For her, however, it came at a steep cost. In 10 minutes of television, she projected a set of complicated, even conflicting images—forthright but defensive, feisty but dutiful—triggering the mix of skeptical, antagonistic feelings that have defined her with a share of the American public ever since.

Bill lied and denied it, tapes came out, he had to admit it, and Hillary did an interview right after the super bowl gaslighting America into how older men giving young women a job and then pressuring sexual favors totally wasn't a big deal and we should all just ignore it.

They were using Trump's strategy before he ever dreamed of holding office.

[–] reddig33@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Well she certainly has the money and the power to do something about it. Unlike like most of us.

[–] DavidDoesLemmy@aussie.zone 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

She also said Julian Assange was guilty of treason, so she hasn't got the best track record.

[–] how_we_burned@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago

Assange got Trump elected.

Although anyone advocating is helpful. Isn't there evidence she paid off(?) some college woman and sent her threats that Bill had , during her presidential run?

I'm trying to remember where that information was from.

If someone recalls please let me know so I can double check that.

If it's true that's not a woman who cares about women but is only concerned with covering men's crimes. Especially when it connects to her.

I think this is the story I'm thinking of.

Idk.

[–] EmpireInDecay@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago

Since she never seems to get the memo, fuck off Hillary

[–] VerilyFemme@lemmy.blahaj.zone -1 points 2 days ago

Holy shit. Somebody finally said it.
