We have a mealtime videos community right here on Lemmy to make it much easier to find something interesting :)
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Is this actually an issue people have?
No, I would never make dinner before picking out something to watch.
If you're browsing Netflix, yeah.
If you have a queue in a media player of locally-saved episodes and movies, no.
locally-saved episodes and movies
YARR!
Not necessarily! I used to buy DVDs and blurays and rip them so I'd own the movie physically and was building a library digitally.
I definitely have this issue looking though my jellyfin
Every single day.
The trick is to pick what you want to read/watch before preparing the food.

Every fucking time, smh.
Heat your plate to avoid cold food!
Pop it in the microwave = heating the plate while keeping the food cold.
People forget to eat their food while they watch something?
while they pick something to watch.
It's more like people don't want to start eating while they're still looking for something to watch. At least, that's how it is for me.
I also refuse to eat during opening credits
