Its such a shame because I really wanted to like it! I played over the free weekend and literally less than 500 players were online. I almost never had a full squad, but the game itself was decent enough.

Control 2 launches this year and is largely finished. Unless he decides to postpone the launch, there's little damage he can do at this point. I'm much more worried about Control3/Alan Wake 3/whatever combo sequel it is because AW2 is basically Control 2 anyway. THAT is in serious danger.

Its directly related, shares characters and major organizations, with overt messages and teases from Control 1, DLC with returning characters, and all centers around AWE's. Control and AW are so closely related you can't separate them.
