Sen. Tim Scott, a close Trump ally and prominent Black Republican from South Carolina who is leading the Senate’s campaign efforts this year, wrote he was “praying it was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House.”

I'm wracking my brain to determine what Mr. Scott means by "fake".

Not an excuse but I truly believe that with whatever mental issues he has, he's incapable of any real self-reflection.

He is so messed up that he really seems to believe all the words coming out of his mouth must be the truth.

Oh I'm not trying to imply there have been any recent changes. It's just being exposed more now.

I think there's enough evidence that his child-like behavior has been there since, well his childhood. People with his mental well being definitely shouldn't have this much power as it's clear they can't use it responsibly.
