Update 2/5/26, 5:20 p.m. EST: The DOJ told 404 Media that the unredacted version of the document in question contains an image of a victim’s face overlayed on the face of the Mona Lisa image.

Who knows if that's really the case, but it wouldn't really surprise me, either, knowing how weird some of the other pictures are.

It is plausible, but since they claimed it, then I have to assume it is lie.

I’m becoming even more convinced they used shitty LLMs to do the vast majority of the redactions at this point

Wait until you see the page that redacted the word "don't". As in, "Don T." Why would that be a term they targeted??

Lmfao that is so fucking blatantly obvious, holy shit

Edit: this is like the easy mode version of how Facebook tracks you by the trackers your browser doesn’t engage with if you don’t have an account. Holy fuck. There’s a part of me that wants to believe the people doing this couldn’t possibly be this stupid, but then I remember the mental caliber of everyone running the show these days.

This should honestly be a news story in itself. Absolutely no possible justification for redacting the word "don't". No human would have made that redaction. This had to have been done in an automated fashion, specifically to react references to Trump.

A photo we're assuming is the Mona Lisa!

[–] fistac0rpse@fedia.io 5 points 6 days ago

yeah, could have just as easily been another painting of Bill Clinton

Apparently DoJ doesn’t care about the victims. For them, the Epstein files are some sort of joke.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

They've never cared about the victims. I can't imagine why that would change with President Pedophile at the helm.

Let's be honest, at this point AI probably did all the reactions which would explain a lot lol.

It only doesn't explain why it's taking them so long to give them to us...

Mona Lisa? Or trump in drag waiting for rudy to show up.
