In June of 2025, AEW made its debut in Mexico, at Arena Mexico. Brody had a match that night. During his entrance, he opens his jacket to reveal he's wearing an ABOLISH ICE shirt; the crowd went bananas.

Then, just days before last night's Dynamite, Brody King, along with Daniel Warren Johnson, teamed up to donate nearly $58,000 to families that were affected by the recent ICE raids in Minnesota. Brody is synonymous with hating fascism.

Sun tsu made the point that you don't want to leave an opponent without a retreat, specifically you should leave them the retreat available which you would prefer they take.

Have faith in your fellow community members to become better people and give them the opportunity, if only in the directions you prefer.

I don't think any one would argue a pro wrestling crowd as a particularly progressive group, but here we are. Give them the opportunity to be better and take away any other options.

Also, if you are a reader of current affairs, the most recent edition has an article on the kayfabe presidency. Worth the time.

AEW is a LOT better than the old school wrestling organizations. I have a (former) AEW wrestler trans-rights shirt (CM Punk)

No kings but Brody King!

Brody King is also the vocalist for the on hiatus band God's Hate!

"Folks... it's very hard for me to heel if you're out there chanting a more evil organization's name."

Meanwhile WWE had one of their biggest annual shows take place in a country that beheads gay people. In terms of wrestling this might have been one of the most important moments of this era.

That was a previous event. One of the wrestlers in the video, Brody King (long beard with tattoos), performed at a previous event in Mexico in 2025 and he wore a shirt that said "Abolish ICE". The video posted took place in Las Vegas last night
