I feel like the prevalence of rentals represents mind of a vulnerability. Maybe there is something protestors can do to sour the relationship between ICE and the rental agencies. A way to make it unprofitable enough to get them cut off
They can start keying FUCK ICE into the cars.
Good tactic but they will absolutely try to arrest you and throw the book at you if you do this so make sure you have the ability to avoid surveillance and arrest if you plan to do something like this.
These guys on the video don't look armed since they never got out and attacked the guy recording. So if they can target those guys only then they should be fine. What's a good spray on paint destroyer? Brake cleaner? Oh maybe spray foam in wheel wheels so it gums up the calipers. Or on the windshield since spray foam smears.
They're armed, count on it.
Good ideas but I would always assume they are armed. The quicker you can do what you came to do and then engage the better, so keep that in mind. Also picking the right moment and escape route.
Brake fluid, surprisingly, more than cleaner.
Good old pool cleaner acid works too. Or many wheel and tyre cleaners.
Bologna on a hot day works. Not as effective in winter.
Take a fire starter block, light it, place it on top of one of the front tires. Entire car will go up in flames.
Alternatively, take old spark plugs, smash the porcelain parts with a hammer so you can get little chucks of the porcelain. If you throw one of those teeny pebbles at tempered glass(side and rear windows) it will instantly shatter. It will also be almost impossible to detect on video that you threw anything at all.
Or, if you can get the trunk open, dump an entire bottle of Jack Daniels in there. It will smell like whiskey for months. No one will want to rent, or drive the car, and odds are insurance won't replace it either.
