Church is fiction for profit. It's foundation is dishonesty. This one 'dishonesty through omission' is a rounding error. You can't expect them to have any sense of shame about this.
There are actually churches who think Jesus was too "woke".
It's a truism but there's no hate like Christian love.
The cathedral near me has a big sign saying "no new coal and gas"
because if they talk about it, then their congregation will leave and go to a non-woke church
and of course the church leaders care, not because of "spreading the good news" or anything, but because of $$$
Cowards, according to their own beliefs God will judge them for abdicating their responsibility to their congregation to guide them from suffering to spiritual enlightenment.
Do they think God is approving of how we treat this precious gift he gave us that is Earth? Not to mention how we treat fellow humans...
