It’s exactly like that actually. I hope to see a super feral response to this from the Italian people

ICE wishes that it was anywhere near as efficient as the SS. The ironic part is that the SS just used IBM and Coke to gather their records, and said records were shockingly accurate. Meanwhile ICE is using an Orwellian dictatorship's wet dream of surveillance and failing constantly, because the AI BS keeps hallucinating.

Edit: just caught that fUcKiNg AuToCoRrEcT changed coke to Coke. I'm leaving it, as I'm sure that Fanta helped the war machine in some way. I meant cocaine.

I'm glad this edit exists because I read this comment and legitimately thought Coke did what??? How???

I've been typing iSSe when talking to my friends.

IIRC, you're former Navy. You know damn well that ICE isn't functioning anywhere near as efficiently as the SS, they are just emulating them badly with "better technology."

It's mildly ironic that IBM and cocaine are more effective than AI and whatever meth they are handing these rabid chipmunks.

Edit: also if what I recall is accurate, your username Doesn't check out, Petty Officer.

Well the SS were a lot more effective once all the really thick ones were killed off. Of course with ICE that would be a total extinction event because the entire organisation doesn't have six brain cells spread between them.

That's exactly what it's like!

[–] qjkxbmwvz@startrek.website 20 points 2 days ago

Right, the SS were much better dressed.

Italian here, we have enough fascists here already, we don't need more.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ah, but these will kill people and you can't do anything about it.

[–] SARGE@startrek.website 4 points 2 days ago

I mean, you can but then you'll also be one of the dead ones, labeled a terrorist, and your family will receive death threats.

[–] SARGE@startrek.website 17 points 2 days ago

But it's exactly like that.

He is right.

ICE analogy would be SA, not SS.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

What's the difference? It's all Nazis

[–] Phineaz@feddit.org 13 points 2 days ago

A (post-)fascist government sees no issue with ICE, colour me surprised!

Ron Howard voice: "But it was like that".
