Every cat is kitty, but somehow my current cat nyx (who I've ever actually called by that name) is now monkey.
The man of the house gets called Mr. Chowdown because he's usually already eating when I'm putting food in the other bowls.

I call my cat Nyarlathotep Nyar for short. But other names I call him are Mr Murder Mittens and Mr Vinegar.

kevin is a great name for a kitty <3
Those are not their actual names, just when we forget them for something. Like I will do a cuddle tour in the house, but forget one, then my wife will say "Is she (or he) from gypsies?" because I suppose they were a historically neglected group. Hence they all received a gypsy name.

CoJack (now deceased): CoJack Kitty, Bitch, Bitch-ass Cat, CoJack Bitch-ass Kitty, and Meowsellus Wallace ('cause he looked like a bitch)
Gouda: GobbleGouda (because for a while he took to making a garbled meow that sounded a bit like a turkey gobble), Fatass (he's 21 pounds), Gouder, Puddle (because he melts into a fluffy blob when he loafs)
Romano: 'Mano, hesagoodboy
George: Geeeooorge (in a shrill voice because it weirds him out), Potato (because he's a bit on the roly-poly side and also seems to have the mental capacity of a potato)
Meeka: mostly just Meeka, but sometimes Precious Kitty. She didn't really used to be vocal until we found her root ailment was stomatitis and we had all her teeth removed. Now she's a lot happier and yells at us when we sing-song her name at her.
Her name is Kitten, but we'll call her Shmittens, Smittens, Mittens, or Bitchens when she's having her mood (calico...if you know you know 🤣)
Just Jezzie or Jezz, her name's Jezebel, my little, fluffy demon. ❤️
