badposting is a comm where you post badly

This is not a !the_dunk_tank@hexbear.net alternative. This is not a !memes@hexbear.net alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Rules:

  1. Do not post good posts.
    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
    • Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
  2. This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
  3. This rule intentionally left blank.
  4. If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

Okay not to fedpost but like they are literally executing anyone who is against maga now. And all these moronic feckless libs can do is scream let us continue to peacefully protest while the government executes us one by one because as we learned in first grade, violence is never ever the answer and we should never stoop to that level.

And to make it even more hilarious anyone on social media who suggests u know. Is immediately banned. What I’ve come to realize is that. There is 0 hope for revolution in this country dog. It’s not because it’s impossible via u know how means. It’s because the liberals in this country are genuinely so brainwashed they would rather die than stand up for themselves with force. Social media manufactures consent as to peaceful feckless protesting being the only viable thing to try. We are all so terminally online that how tf are we supposed to organize man.

The only solution to us becoming free is for xi to nuke us. Unironically.

I don't know if we're seeing the same libs. Get your shit together - if you're part of more politically advanced segment you have to be leading and educating before you despair that there is nothing to do. There are people coming out of the woodwork to defend their communities and neighbors and recognizing there's no one to save them but each other. Do you think them cowards because they're not fighting street to street with rifles? There are tens of thousands of minneapolitans on the streets; every day they're doing sentry networks to try and prevent people from being kidnapped; people are coming to terms with what this means day by day and they are joining together. This is the fucking moment, so either help or shut the fuck up.

Rather then engaging with the defeatism elsewhere in this thread I will simply thank you for passionately and accurately summarizing the state of play.

Yes that’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s cowardly. Non violent protesting doesn’t work against cheeto hitler u dum dum

the real fedposting is you downplaying the actual spontaneous movement of the masses, instead insisting that anything short of adventure-time is a pointless waste of time. But of course, like you said, you're just going to sit at home and do nothing until "shit pops off"

The spontaneous movement to do what exactly? Film the brown shirts peacefully and get shot doing so. It’s not an actual protest until u know what. This is just people walking up to brownshirts filming them and getting arrested or murdered. It literally doesn’t matter until u know what. Lib ass argument. I only deleted my last comment because I dont need to be on another list. Lick my pigpoopballs strictly peaceful protesting is for nerds

Maybe you should take it as a sign that badposting just isn't for you, you're just too good at posting.

They're still telling people to vote for 2028...

Dancing around in frog costumes while their peers are killed and taken away...

It's surreal, I can't imagine how strange and scary it must feel to be living in the US right now.

I live in the south east united states and I still have family saying that the protests are too much and we should just vote

Then again these are the same people telling me I would be happier if I didn't look at the news because the human brain is only supposed to worry about the problems of a small group of people

They know violence is the answer, they call for violence everywhere that isn't amerikkka.

They don't call for violence because they think it will be worse for them than quietly keeping their head down and accepting the new status quo. They will submit to the new status quo violently imposed by the fascists and hope the fascism goes after people different to themselves.

I agree more and more with what Rodiric Day said about brainwashing - I don't think these people are brainwashed or being fooled, they're just making excuses, reaching for justifications given by propaganda because they want to, NEED to believe it. It's a survival mechanism, something materially beneficial to say and believe because it's too scary to actually resist, it's too unsafe, they'll lose all this comfort they have, even given what's happening. These are just moments to get through without being noticed to pick up where they left off with weekly brunch and happy hour trivia nights. That obviously lacks long term thinking when it comes to the question of survival, but that has always been the case when it comes to buying into imperialist propaganda.

yea it's been pretty depressing to watch. i have no idea how anyone is supposed to organize as it stands. libs will literally get upset over people on their side having guns to protect them bc they'll say that that's just asking for violence. what the fuuuck are you talking about they're just killing people who aren't doing anything how do you not see reality for what it is

oh wait this is bad posting

uhhh libs r poopoo peepee

Regardless of who’s president aside. Everyone is too scared of the right to truly fuck with them and this power trip is one of those examples of just keeping the fear fresh in people’s heads.

Why is this in badposting? Just because people should have realized earlier? Sure, but there are young people that need to see it themselves and aren't radicalized by a paragraph in their history textbooks about Kent State.

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 8 points 1 week ago

Libs can't even define violence. Weapons like sanctions against other countries aren't even acknowledged as such despite them doing more damage than outright wars often. Or the countless wars against brown people. Even the deprivation against working class people at home. Violence is the question and for America the answer has always been yes.

[–] Trying2KnowMyself@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

violence is never ever the answer and we should never stoop to that level.

This is your regularly scheduled reminder that violence didn’t start in Minneapolis
