Federal authorities said the slain man, Alex Pretti, had approached agents with a gun. But videos show Mr. Pretti was holding his phone, not a weapon, when they pulled him to the ground.

In particular, he never drew his gun, and ICE took his gun away before executing him.

Bellingcat reached the same conclusion

Rare case of the NYT not just spreading complete lies. Thats a pretty accurate description of the events.

The same agent who approached with empty hands pulls a gun from among the group that appears to match the profile of a firearm DHS said belonged to Mr. Pretti.

The agents appear to have him under their control, with his arms pinned near his head.

As the gun emerges from the melee, another agent aims his own firearm at Mr. Pretti’s back and appears to fire one shot at close range. He then appears to continue firing at Mr. Pretti, who collapses.

A third agent unholsters a weapon. Both agents appear to fire additional shots into Mr. Pretti as he lies motionless.

In total, at least 10 shots appear to have been fired within five seconds.

Fucking unconscionable. We knew they were self-selecting monsters, but fuck. It's all so awful.

Yeah I watched the video and couldn't see him drawing his gun at any point Almost wonder how they got his gun in the first place?

Maybe they knew he was carrying? I know some of the FRT cams in my city also have thermal imaging for weapons detection. Wouldn't be surprised to learn ICE uses something similar.

Maybe scan a crowd, then target somebody you know is carrying and instigate an interaction to escalate things. Then claim "That ICU nurse was definitely there to assassinate ICE agents and had to be neutralized."

Criminals Beware! Project NOLA's latest Active Deterrence Crime Camera may see handguns concealed under clothing

This paper introduces a novel two-stage method for concealed handgun detection, leveraging thermal imaging and deep learning, offering a potential real-world solution for law enforcement and surveillance applications. The approach first detects potential firearms at the frame level and subsequently verifies their association with a detected person, significantly reducing false positives and false negatives.

Also curious about what happened to the two women who were being attacked by ice. Has anybody interviewed them?

I have the same questions about the other people that were very close. Pink jacket and red backpack. In particular red backpack appears to have been attacked but then ignored once they realized they were going to kill this guy instead.

That's murder. No doubt. Dude tried to help another person and was executed by ICE as a result. Gun removed before execution.

Did we expect anything less?

These people have been jizzing their pants at the idea of shooting a minority since they learned the N-word...and liberals for over a decade.

They are having their moment.
