On January 24, 2026, 37-year-old US citizen Alex Jeffrey Pretti was shot multiple times and killed by United States Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident was the third shooting by federal officers in Minneapolis in seventeen days, and occurred amid mass protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The Department of Homeland Security claimed that Pretti approached agents with a handgun and the intent to "massacre" law enforcement; a review by The New York Times of available video found him holding a cell phone, not a gun, in the moments before the shooting.[1]

There was judgement or trial only violence. He was killed. There was no authority overseeing the death. There was unplanned violence that killed an innocent person trying to do good. He was killed helping someone cross the street.

Get off your highly partisan POV-pushing labeling of him as a "domestic terrorist". You will need reliable sources to verify any claims that Pretti fired a shot, obstructed operations, resisted arrest, or any of the other drivel that you have mentioned here. That's enough, and you are violating WP:BLP by even mentioning any of this unsourced nonsense here.

Also THIRD Shooting incident? Did someone die between Alex and Renee that I'm not aware of?
