Means of labour are what a worker enacts upon the subject of labour. It can be anything needed to get the actual work going - tools, land to work on, existing infrastructure and communications, etc. Hence its other name - instruments of labor.
The way the boss touches Gabi just leaves me so incredibly squicked out. 
Yes the lip touch is icky and then Gabi clearly trying to pull away from the embrace in the next panel, i love the cat though lol
