We really don't need a word for:

Normal effects of aging compounded with lead poisoning

Because later generations are gonna experience aging too, and while we have nowhere near Boomer's lead level, it's still enough to effect us.

We've known about this shit for decades, if people would just learn about it instead of making up catchy buzzwords, we could actually try to mitigate it.

Businesses in general bend over backwards to create an environment in which I will be comfortable. Music, decor, etc. I'm in the prime money-spending age bracket. It's very comfortable to be prioritized. I think the vast majority just a accept it as the natural order of things to have the world revolving around your taste. The boomers got and extended run based on thier outsized share of wealth, but it's over now.

I don't think gen x even ever got that moment in history, which is so funny and sad at the same time... such a predictable curse...

I don't think many people really get that it's just a statistical thing. Nobody gives a shit about ME. I'm not special. I'm just currently in that demographic.

Assuming time is linear, this will change. Younger people will be in my position, and the environments will mould and shape to thier sensibilities, and I'll be left in the dust.

I think if people are unaware of that reality... it's probably really jarring to be pushed aside, even in really small ways. I expect it all adds up.

seems like you sorta went off the headline and not the content as the entire article talks about emotional health and regulation.

obviously lead is not an advantageous difference, but it's also disingenuous to imply it's the difference in generations.

as the entire article talks about emotional health and regulation.

No I read it...

They're describing the effects of lead poisoning and the normal effects of aging...

Both of which cause a loss of critical thinking, a fall back on stereotypes from childhood, and aggressive belligerence in response to frequent confusion.

You could have asked more, or just googled it...

Well that was a shit article.

There are some geographical differences and the world was much larger then.

European perspective:

After WWII Europe was bombed to shit. They were rebuilding with basically nothing. Children of that time had nothing. Food at the table and not necessary every day. You got to play with sticks. Even a crappy doll was a luxury.

Child upbringing was a lot more morbid. More children died. Schools were rough. If someone was brutally bullied, it was met with attitudes like "boys will be boys", "it will make then stronger", "that one is not gonna become anything anyway" or "they are just finding their place".

Many male teachers were in the war, traumatised and now teaching children. Corporal punishment was allowed, common and sometimes brutal.

To my experience world after WWII made them though as nails.

Problem is that boomers are old now. Many are senile and turning back in to children. They are turning back to people of that era. Now they are in a strange alien world where people are acting strange. Many codes of conduct have changed and what they consider good manners don't exist anymore. People are hostile in a different way and there are threats they don't even understand. No wonder, if it becomes too much sometimes.

What this article mostly represents is hostile ignorance and stupidity.

Grand sin of our times. We have all the knowledge available and most of us spend our time in TikTok, reacting. Fueling the great dopamine engine.

This "article" is very poorly written.
