Our Rules:

  1. Keep it civil. We're all people here. Be respectful to one another.

  2. No sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other flavor of bigotry. I should not need to explain this one.

  3. Must be tumblr related. This one is kind of a given.

  4. Try not to repost anything posted within the past month. Beyond that, go for it. Not everyone is on every site all the time.

  5. No unnecessary negativity. Just because you don't like a thing doesn't mean that you need to spend the entire comment section complaining about said thing. Just downvote and move on.

I would actually love to hear some science about this. Technically there should be the same amount of seconds in a day but time just seems to move so much slower in January and February. And then come May it's suddenly September.

Ass movement gravitation effect. Time goes faster if your ass is in movement. Static ass leads to time stagnation. Some relativism. Sciency stuff. So you want time to move faster? Pick up your ass and start moving it. No, not in the armchair. Like to the street. Yes, outdoor street. Off you go...

I hope you're not implying I go outside

Yes. Outside. Outdoor. To the street. On feet! Walking.

My view about work, not politics

A distinction without a difference, unless you believe politics doesn't affect your livelihood, or your work does not contribute to society. Labor is inherently political. How much of it you do a week, how stressful it is, how safe it is, how much you make, these are all ongoing political discussions. The idea that politics is something outside of our day to day experiences has led, in my opinion, to historically low levels of political participation.

I wasn't talking on a philosophical level.

The original post was - I believe - was from an American, and was about how the first 21 days of this year seem to have been going on forever and ever because of the actions of the administration over there.

Where as, for me, because of various problems we've had with upgrades, installations, releases, network issues and so on, I swear to Merlin it seems like the thirteen (yes - 13) days of work I have done feel like they have lasted forever.

Apeak for yourself. It's the 22 January and it feels like I've done like 2 days of work maximum this month. It's summer here, is it related to that?
