Trump’s new “Board of Peace” is shaping up to be a billion‑dollar alternative to the UN. Invitations sent to world leaders offer three‑year seats—or permanent membership for those who pay $1B—on a body with a global mandate far beyond Gaza.

It's more like the trade federation from Star wars, a conglomerate of people using money power to sway international relations of governments. They were never about peace, but the are about taking what they want when they want

I was more thinking the Mars Attacks aliens who say "we come in peace" while gunning down everyone, starting with a literal peace dove

This is what I think. If companies join this board of peace, it’s legitimizing them on the level of governments, which is really what dark enlightenment is after

Exactly. It should be scorned

I have come in peace. You need not fear me; I mean you no harm. However, it is important to note that most of you will not survive the next 24 hours. Those of you who do survive will be enslaved and experimented on. You should in no way take any of this personally. It's just business. So, just to recap: I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die.

Well you got to show the countries they could be attacked at any moment, so they know paying for protection is worth while.

It's not like the other slogans weren't spin or euphemisms either. Democracy means getting an American puppet in power, freedom means capital taking the reigns of the country, "fighting for your country" means simply colonizing others, etc etc.

It's 1984 speak. Peace is defined as War. And it's a money shakedown.

Literally a "protection racket" Where protection is from their own violence.

"give us a billion dollars and bad things won't happen"

Possible the most classic and uninspired thug tactic of all time.

Corrupt mob leader is trying to determine who’s with him in the axis vs the ex allies in ww3.
