MODERATORS
While I hope it passes, I don't belive it will. ICE could have been defunded for decades by them. They chose not to because of "scary brown people" and "tough on crime". Biden didn't want it removed, Harris didn't want it removed, so the main leaders won't let this happen.
I would love to have every member of ICE detained for mass treason but I'll settle for every single one of them publicly humiliated and stripped everything. No kindness should exist for fascists.
All the other democrats: We've done nothing and it hasn't worked yet. We will continue to try nothing.
Schumer and Jeffries almost have their strongly worded letter written.
They limited the letter to ONE please and thank you and even escalated by threatening to contain ZERO in the next one.
As soon as their unpaid intern gets back with coffee they'll have him draft a toothless letter and drop it right in the mailbox.

We always see a handful of people in the party champion the rational policy. And then the leadership turns on them like lupus. The most corrupt and despicable Democrats lynching the healthy and popular members.
This is why Mamdani gives me hope, but the rest of the country is not New York.

Why are my own representatives fucking SILENT on this. I'm going to get some signs with my name and address and confront ICE where they live, whenever the ICE list gets released. I'm going to handcuff myself and wear a sign loudly proclaiming who I am and dare them to arrest me.
We'll see how that goes.

I've seen some examples, which while a bit gregarious, use direct flame contact to remove ice.

As we both know if they don’t hold a majority it won’t go anywhere.
If they don’t have a super majority then when it hits trumps desk it will die.
It won't even get a headline when it goes nowhere.
It’s tougher to abolish ICE after you’ve just voted to continue funding them. Maybe that last one should have been a “no” eh?
This needs to happen.
