!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.

The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

Rules (interactive)

Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.

All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.

Rule 2- Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material.

Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.

Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here. This includes using AI responses and summaries.

They could literally impeach him tomorrow. This is not a one man show. It is a choice. They're choosing to make themselves richer and make you poorer, to make themselves more powerful and to make you more vulnerable. Not just Trump.

There are no divine guard rails and Trump is merely a symptom of a diseased country....diseased west internationally frankly. Looks like nothing will be done until maybe a critical mass of you have nothing to lose. Too comfortable and selfish for now, waiting for invisible heroes who will never arrive to do the hard stuff for you. Or not. Could end up like Russia for centuries.

Laws written are only applied to the out group, not the in group under nazi regime. The in group shrinks over time.

I think Canada following you idiots into hell, just on a delayed timer. We have the same situation where we're fucked the minute we elect our own nazi party. Very nearly did last election. Nobody should trust us long term. Handing ourselves to USA on a silver platter is in the cards IMO.

Realistically only Congress or the Supreme Court can stop him and no they aren’t going to. Beyond that, as others have said it is just standing in the street and yelling. But that won’t stop him.

The fun thing about checks and balances is that it relies on the other branches to be actually interested in the continuation of governance.

The only significant opposition has been in a few courts. Everything else is mostly vocal and easily ignored. So, yeah, we are.

I think you're missing a word in that question.

I hate when I accidentally a word.

If I can give an overly pedantic answer, it’s not him. I certainly never give such a vile human being a pass but ….. his advisors have their own agendas. At least some of the evilness is their agenda and Trump is either the sock puppet, was bribed, or just doesn’t care about anyone besides himself.

I know this is "no stupid questions", but for the love of God, could you try to at least type it coherently? It reads like you were having a stroke while typing that or trying to mimic Kevin's "why use many word when few do good?" Have some self respect, sheesh. I feel like there's no point in explaining anything to you because you wouldn't get it anyways.

I am in the ER on my phone and have fat fingers so excuse me.

Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society. They are his programming language now, the Fox is in the Henhouse

I mean a South Korean president got convicted and went to prison, then her successor commuted her sentence.

Odds are, in America, him being that old... it aint happening because someone is gonna make the "oh he's too sick to be in prison" argument and the courts will just let it slide.
