The exact same RAM from the same shop now costs over 1,410 USD. I feel damn lucky.

Not as much as DDR5, but DDR4 has increased its price a lot.
I bought 128GB on Amazon in 2024 for around 240€, went to the product page recently and it is around 1100€.
DDR3. Split between two machines.
I also have 64gb but not DDR5 sadly
