Why does this just make me think of this banger?

[–] bonenode@piefed.social 19 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I think the funniest part isn't even the addition of humongous knockers but that the face doesn't even remotely look like the original photo.

Somebody uploaded a photo of me with my baby to make an animated Christmas greeting. After the first frame the baby's face turned into an unrecognizable generic baby face.

I think a child porn distributor tried to hide his face using that swirl tool. And he found out that Photoshop will unswirl it quite happily.

That's good until you realize that it's a very bad sign that Photoshop is now capable of happiness 😬🤔

[–] RickyRigatoni@retrolemmy.com 17 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It steals the happiness from everyone who is forced to use it.

Unlike GIMP that beats the happiness out of you

The beatings will continue until gimp is updated to GTK4.

Sentient Photoshop sounds like bad news 😬

You think you child porn distributor?

[–] mkwt@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Haha, fixed now. Thanks.

If anyone is wondering how: it's roughly akin to rotating a photo and rotating it back (on a non 90° shift) - the input pixels get moved around with some interpolation.

[–] Zomg@piefed.world 7 points 3 months ago

Yeah, it was just reversed.

If anyone wants to seriously sensor an image, it has to be a destructive edit where pixels are removed, not transformed.

Mr. Swirl Face. I would link to his Wikipedia entry, but his Wikipedia entry DOESN'T SHOW WHAT EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE.

So just search the name.

Using the spray tool isn't much better. I've sent people PMs of their de-censored faces to show them how leaving 50% of pixels untouched is plenty of information.

I remember seeing this in some subreddit, and a bunch of brainrotted AIddicts were too busy spouting "here's a way more realistic version from Gemini" to read the room and figure out that they were being made fun of
