Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Imagine being so bothered by someone else's preferences that you make a comic out of it...
It's kinda funny though. While I don't agree with the content, I had a mild chuckle. It's weird how some things get down voted on Lemmy. This is a fairly new development.

Fuck it, I'm going to order me a Hawaii today. I don't think I've had one for twenty odd years.
I never understood the hate, sure it’s unconventional, but it’s objectively more healthy when your eating fruit.
The fact that it actually tastes good is a miracle.
This "hate" is more of a joke than actual hate. Nobody cares what other people eat.
Some are unreasonably bothered by it. Another related thing people are angry about it food names and classification, what is real (insert a food item or dish). The latter one is more understandable to me.
A few crazy chauvinists are angry that things are different in other regions. They are too few to be important. Same importance/loudness ratio as vegans and some religious groups.
Can't recall the last comic I saw that had a vote ratio this equal (exactly 65-64 at the time I'm writing this). Guess it's a sign how many uncultured barbarians we have on lemmy that can't appreciate a fine fruit.
