Is it not disjunctive because of the slashes? Some people say be vegan, others say eat insects (I don't think that's true either, but it's at least not a contradiction)

I think it's just pure treatlerism. It makes them feel icky so it must be bad.

Yeah but the overall concern is real, for other reasons though, remember that part in Capital when Marx explained how lowering the average cost of labour force reproduction is one of the methods employed by bourgeoisie to extract more value from workers? Excample cited was when potatoes largely replaced bread and other vegetables.

You will live in a pod, eat bugs, own nothing and be happy. Or else.
