Meanwhile, The AI World, based in Pakistan, contains AI-generated shorts of catastrophic flooding in Pakistan, with titles like Poor People, Poor Family, and Flood Kitchen. Many of these videos are set to a soundtrack called Relaxing Rain, Thunder & Lightning Ambience for Sleep. The channel itself has 1.3bn views.

Can't even use YouTube anymore, feels like loading has ground down to a crawl and half the time I have to refresh when it just does nothing. Anyone else see that too?

Not to mention the age banning shit. I'll never verify anything with them so I just need to start looking elsewhere for video slop

One of my grandparents was watching some AI compilation and I had to explain that it wasn't real and cats do not ride ducks like a horse while a camera keeps pace with it like a movie.

I remember stumbling upon a cool Youtube channel about Egyptian pyramids before AI slop really took over Youtube, and it took me more than 2 fucking hours to find it again because there's a deluge of AI slop for anything tangentially related to the pyramids.

The channel is History for GRANITE btw
