Isn’t this kinda omitting the fact Pu Yi ruled Manchukuo before the whole “reeducation camp” thing?

So glad china get rid of monarch so they could have a real dictator.
All of the hierarchies are bad, the real galaxy brain ideology is anarchist mutualism.
It seems to me that well organized systems will always triumph over less organized system by nature of them being better organized.
I don't disagree but hierarchies have military advantages over anarchies that I think will prevent them from ever rising, let alone "holding" power any time populists rise up.
The UKs more: have monarch, cut head off monarch, create republic/military dictatorship, regret said dictatorship, install monarch, slowly siphon away power of monarch.
The Commonwealth of England could have been a great idea if they'd planned ahead and thought everything out, but considering the kind of people in charge I'm quite glad they didn't...
American 'monarch' will be selling you cheap Chinese goods with his name on it while yelling at brown people.
This is a good example of how we should treat all massive wealth: take it away and make the billionaire live at the bottom of the system they make.
The scandi countries mostly kept their monarchs but made them take regular jobs iirc
No, they still get funded by the public. But only the people in the direct line of succession. The majority of the royal families do need jobs.
India/pakistan/Bangladesh did that, but let them have wealth, but next to no power.
I think France and/or USSR win this one. No monarchs, “re-educated” or not.
Remember wiping out a dynasty means you will be murdering at least one child "Sorry kid your dad's the former king. Face the wall"
I think it’s pretty fucked up to shoot children in a basement, personally. Nobody picks their family.
That’s fair.
Forgot to mention monarchies are a pox
Interesting thought just like when you think about time traveling and killing baby Hitler.
I’d argue the big distinction there is we know what Hitler did; we’ll never know what the Romanov children would have done had they lived.
Would Hitler have gone on to do what he did if someone had liked his paintings?
What if you went back in time and bought up all Hitler's art and got him into art school?
Our maybe told the Allies not to be huge Dickson after the first world war...
Ah right the Nazis were the real victims.
Fuck off with the Nazi propaganda/revisionism.
He has a point on the Allies in WW1, the Nazis may have never gained power if post war Germany wasn't penalized so heavily we'll never know the answer though because we live in the Nazi timeline
Yeah, i didn't say anything about the nazis, but obligatory fuck the Nazis
Germany just turned its nobility into bureaucrats, capitalists, military, civil servants and political leaders... so same shit, different system.
Only losing WWI had us abolish nobility and by then the transformation of power through birth to power through money and influence had already happened.
