Everyone always mentions Zombie, and it's a great song, but Linger was my first Cranberries song and has always been my favorite. Maybe because it's more mellow and melancholy. RIP Dolores, one of the greats.
Linger is also my favourite, but I have a soft spot for Ode to My Family as I've grown older. That and When You're Gone. Melancholy is dangerous, if you're not careful you drown in it, as life slips through your fingers.
So sad how she died and that she died young.
The bass is fun to play on that song.
I always have Ode to my Family stuck in my head. The beginning of it is just so fun to sing
