Being back that Y2K vibes!
The middle one is modern iOS if you didn’t know, it’s gotten surprisingly customizable
Edit: I may be wrong actually since there isn’t a notch, but also Widgetsmith and widgets are pretty recent. Maybe this is on an SE?
I want websites with no CSS and JavaScript, just the pure unadulterated glory of HTML.
if i don't see a visitor counter, it's not a real website
webdev like it's 1995
That sounds downright Un-American. Anti-American, even.
Death to Amerikkka
What do you mean you dont like us moving the search bar thats been at the top of the screen for over a decade to the bottom because we felt like it? Don't worry about the fact that we had UI researchers and data informing our past work and we laid them off or replaced them with AI. Actually you're the problem if you think you shouldn't have to relearn how to use our product you pay for every couple years.
idk why apple in particular always has to do this but corey doctorow says apps are always like this because it makes people spend more time in your shitty app if they keep having to relearn how to use it
Isn't supposed to be more modular and adaptable too? Would think they'd have more options for moving UI features like that to the user's liking if they're going to go this way.

I've activated "reduce transparency" and "increase contrast" in the accessibility settings so that it looks less like shit, and it's still transparent! what the fuck? When this computer dies I'm getting a Linux laptop…
You might want to look into Asahi Linux, it’s pretty cool! It runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs and it seems to work reasonably well for such a small project. I’ve never used it myself though, so ymmv.
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll look into it. Although I've never used any Linux device before so I hope this one is good for total newbies like me.
It's "here be the monsters" territory running it on newer chips than M2 due to reverse engineered drivers.
Oh okay; I have an M2 device, but perhaps I shouldn't start my Linux learning experience on this computer then...
