It's my duty as CEO to make the shareholders the most money possible. I might as well lie about everything, get a ton of investment, raise stock prices, obfuscate the truth as long as possible, when the courts finally do make me tell the true truth I'll pay a relatively small fine. Rinse repeat. Who can even argue this isn't effective, he's the richest person in the world and this timeline sucks.
