Accusation in a mirror is a technique often used to incite hate speech, where someone falsely attributes their own motives or intentions onto their adversaries.
Can swap out Muslim with black, brown, Asian, women, gay (to Republicans that is anyone not cis hetero), disabled, poor, people needing benefits and so forth. His really call could keep his supporters going for another decade.
