Chapter Master is a great 40k 4x fan game project if you are willing to put up with a level of visual jank that comes with a long running fan project.
Missed opportunity for Total Warhammer
Every time someone mentions that online, one lawyer at CA and one at GW both gain a few more grey hairs, and another raise.

Never thought I'd see the day. I kept running into the opinion that 40k wouldn't mesh well with Total War mechanics. Guess we'll see about that lol
I was of that opinion as well, but I got convinced a few years ago that it would be kinda cool. Here's hoping it will work. 🙏
