Fresh meat volunteering for the front lines!

...

I really shouldn't joke, Putin might.

[–] crank0271@lemmy.world 28 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The children yearn for the... front lines?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

They will die with a smile on their face thinking of the motherland!

[–] velindora@lemmy.cafe 7 points 1 month ago

They can play Роблокс instead

[–] SlartyBartFast@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 month ago

They'd probably just stay in Ukraine, that's where most of them were taken from anyway

Imagine roblox is the final piece that leads to Russia's inevitable collapse.

Don't make me agree with Putin on banning something

[–] village604@adultswim.fan 11 points 1 month ago

You probably disagree on the reason for the ban, though.

Oh, now he's concerned that Roblox is bad for kids? After he bought Trump?

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago

Looking back historians will point to this strategic failure as the first step to Putin's downfall. The children crave the Roblox, the children shall have their Roblox!

[–] youngGoku@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Roblox is terrible, probably for the best. Sorry kids.

I agree that it should be heavily regulated, and kids shouldn’t be allowed unsupervised access… But I disagree with why Putin banned it. It’s just anti-LGBT propaganda on Putin’s part.

100% agree. Roblox looks like Minecraft but it’s more like a chatroom with games rather than a game with a chat feature.

A chatroom where 60% of the users are under the age of 16. 40% under 12.

Also extremely exploitative of child labor.

They basically lead the kids on with a carot on a stick to develop in game content with a promise to get rich but the reality is that will never happen.

Edit: This is just a TLDR; and the tip of the iceberg btw. If you have kids I highly recommend doing some research into Roblox specifically how it exploits children by incentivising them with false hope.

This. It would solve so many problems. I know we’re all out here doing the best we can, but this would do wonders for society.

Hahahaha

Kids are gonna be kids the world over.

The first step in Moscow's capitulation. Gamers will rise up.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 month ago

Gamers.

He targeted gamers.

So do you send children to a special children's gulag, or do you send the entire family to the same one to avoid separating them?
