Fun fact: people assume sharks attack humans because they sometimes look like seals, but in reality they can sense cancer in various parts of the body and their protective instincts lead them to severing those parts of the body.

So if I'm attacted by a shark I have biiger issues to worry about?

[-] fluxion@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

No, if you're attacked by a shark and it lets you go, you are most likely cured already

I should start a Shark Therapy business

What do you suppose the sharks need therapy for?

People are friends not food!

[-] exu@feditown.com 5 points 1 year ago

How did you do that with your name?

[-] Speculater@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

On your instance website you can change your display name. You can use a fancy font generator on Google and change it to anything.

You can just set a Name to show from your profile settings. It doesn't have to be your username or follow any specific username related rules

Is Druuna what I think it is?

[-] Fissionami@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

If you're talking about my display name then yes. It is. If you're talking about the comic character then also yes. It is

My brother once went on such a tour. And just a week later that very same cage was torn apart by a shark and the tourists injured or maybe even killed.

Cageless dives are much better for that and a variety of reasons.
