I do find thanksgiving sorta strange and especially I think about how in the us its on the level of christmass but in some ways almost more. Mostly because its more likely to involve travel. She mentions using a haunch because she thinks turkey is sus but I thought turkeys were quite common so not sure why.

The indigenous fed the whites and the whites paid them with genocide.

Most Usian holiday possible.

and not just ordinary, plain genocide; but genocide as a community sporting event.

it was mind blowing to reading transcribed stories of pequot elders from 3 centuries ago recounting the events of the first few thanksgivings. using severed heads like pinatas to demonstrate their devotion to a peace loving religion (allegedly) sticks out in my mind the most.

also, you would think that rounding up converted tribes and locking them into their churches to burn it down would trigger some kind of we're-burning-fellow-christians-alive thoughts in the perpetrators heads; but i guess it tracks considering how pro-zionist evangelicals are despite the zionists genociding christians just the same as anyone else in palestine.

Do you know the first words spoken from a native American to the pilgrims?

"Can I have a beer?"

No, I'm not joking. It was a native American named Samoset. He spoke perfect English and had crossed the Atlantic 6 times.
