I do find thanksgiving sorta strange and especially I think about how in the us its on the level of christmass but in some ways almost more. Mostly because its more likely to involve travel. She mentions using a haunch because she thinks turkey is sus but I thought turkeys were quite common so not sure why.

No, I'm not joking. It was a native American named Samoset. He spoke perfect English and had crossed the Atlantic 6 times.
