RFK Jr proposed method: Eat well, excercise and maintain an overall healthy lifestyle.
Why do we need to choose between them?
Because his proposed method isn't just that, it is also rejecting the first method. If you line item, a lot of things look better. Especially because his "Eat well" is just empty words if they keep half assing the regulation rollout. They "say" they are banning dyes. Then they go slow, while asking corporations pretty please.

It doesn't really matter what he says, the rest of the admin's policies are so devastatingly anti-health, this is once again putting all the blame on the consumer, you just need to take care of yourself and you'll be healthy, meanwhile they are enabling all the worst polluters who are poisoning our entire environment, it's a complete fucking sham.

Healthcare before the current admin did recommend both. You've got a really bad doctor/Healthcare support system if they aren't telling you eating healthy and exercise do a lot for your wellbeing.
The big issue is that medical research is a lot harder and more expensive than just "be healthy". Cutting back funding/efforts there has long term cascading effects.
Because that's not what he's proposing. What you are saying? Yes, we can do both. But what you are saying is their solution, is not their entire solution. There entire solution includes a rejection of the other, and they do not separate eating well, from rejecting modern medicine. We should, and I recommend both myself. I feel everyone who recommends modern medicine, at least in their ideals if not in practice, believes in healthy lifestyles. Both of what you are saying work in harmony, but that is not what RFK Jr is proposing.
I didn't think what I commented would be so difficult to understand. I'm mot agreeing with goa'uld boy's proposal. I am saying that we should do both, embrace modern medicine AND a healthy lifestyle.

I understand what you think you are saying, but you did not say that. You said "RFK Jr's proposed method" and then you said something that is not what he proposes as far as changes to the current system's ideas. It does not add something that is already part of it. I'm also not sure you picked up on what I meant when I said "at least in their ideals if not in practice" because "I see too many smart people with means lead a very unhealthy lifestyle" does not contradict it. In fact it was to explain that exact idea. We don't always do what we know is right. That doesn't mean that we don't believe it would be for the best.
We already do both, you realize that right? Doctors already will tell you to eat right and exercise. That's not new he didn't come up with that.
RFK proposed method (actual):
- Bathe in feces.
- Drink milk with live pathogens.
- Let eliminated diseases back into our bodies.
- Have more foreskin.
- Do not take pain relief.
- Make actual medical care unaffordable.
When RFK stumbles onto any right ideas it is purely by accident.
