Today at the beach I found an ankylosaurus.
I also took a nice pic of a fisherman's pier.
Lovely ankylosaurus. Thagomizer complete or nearly too. One of my neighbours has a similar stegosaurus in their front garden. It moves around from time to time eating the plants.

Massive day of gardening and using power tools.
Old mate neighbour was proper annoyed.
Did I need to use the chainsaw?

Did I use it excessively?

Shit! Came home from shopping to a house reeking of gas. Cats fine. That was way too close.

Itβs none of my biz and I hope Iβm not being intrusiveβ¦ but would it be an option to buy an electric hotplate and/or an electric frying pan that can switch off at the wall rather than use the stove?
And maybe buy a portable βtravelβ carbon monoxide detector?
The idea of no safety valve on a gas stove is just haunting me.
(For context I still get para about mine with safety features and freak if I bump the dials. And Iβve had to handle an undetected gas leak before)
Thank you for your concern. I do already own a plug in induction plate. This was total human clumsiness, and not bad enough to set off the detectors, just our noses.

Looked at the jungle that is the garden the other day and thought I can sort that in a couple of hours, no worries. After gardening all morning, turns out I couldnβt, so back to it tomorrow. Work has been pissing me off lately, so I guess itβs a good way to burn off the irritation

I can has Steam Train!! π
A Steam Train went past my house , stopped at the historic station for a minute then went on. I was caught by surprise and it went so quick I didn't get pics. π
Nek time. All the steam trains will be coming through here because of the line diversions. π
Don't wanna flex too hard but a mini steam powered thomas the tank engine goes by my place every w/e in summer. Always booked out lol.
I've seen this in a newsletter I get for kids' activities. We'll make the trip down there one day

Monday and Tuesday are over 25 degrees. Maybe I shall go beach on a random Tuesday when I am done with these assignments hanging over my head. This is probably the last time in my life I will be able to do something like until retirement, so I shall cherish it.
I'm scared to start working full-time in a "real" job and I haven't even started yet. I don't want to do busywork that's ultimately meaningless. But everything has a purpose in some way.
Don't over think it. Enjoy the days. π
Is it the vicks inhaler or a Christmas miracle because for the last few days I felt like I'd been punched in the nose but not today?
Idiot neighbour been playing mindless doof since 7am.
Come 10am they'll discover how extensive and insane my mp3 and speaker system is.

Got two hours of sleep and picked up a second start shift today. I accidentally woke up when I was meant to start. Oops. Eating and then going back.
Question for the cooks out there on thread: is it possible to make a turkish soup with absolutely no garlic in it? Or other spices? My lovely next door neighbour heard I was a bit under the weather and brought round a whole of pot of it. I love her dearly but dat soup was not turkish. She did do a good job with the flatbread though.
