Question for the cooks out there on thread: is it possible to make a turkish soup with absolutely no garlic in it? Or other spices? My lovely next door neighbour heard I was a bit under the weather and brought round a whole of pot of it. I love her dearly but dat soup was not turkish. She did do a good job with the flatbread though.

Is she Turkish? If yes, the soup was definitely Turkish.

Nope. Irish. Hence the good flatbread, but no flavour to the soup.

Oh dang. 0 for authenticity but. 10 for the effort.

Still...free soup delivered is always good
