Looks tasty, reminded me of that other image

This is the high quality effort posting I come to Hexbear for
Rate my pie
Don't talk to me about the crust or the filling
Weird, I don't see a pie here, just some pecans I guess? I'm not trying to gate keep but I think you need more than that to call it a pie comrade.
I JUST DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE 'wow, it looks like you forgot to make sure there was enough crust on the sides hope the filling doesn't fall out' after I'd spent like 10 minutes moaning to myself in the kitchen that I should have really measured twice before cutting after pouring the filling in and realizing what I'd done.
I still don't know what you're talking about but I'm sure your friends love and support you and will be grateful for your pile of pecans.
wrong, they actually got mad at me because i refused to make focaccia and told them "i'm going to bring something thanksgiving themed" and when the google doc went up & I put down pecan pie I immediately got a text from the host going "please don't bring a damn pecan pie instead of the focaccia" but I'm doing it because WHO EATS FOCACCIA FOR THANKSGIVING (i say in disgust, as if my thanksgiving meal isn't usually a lasagna or baked ziti that I smash by myself while the rest of my family eats ham)
I'm trying my best to find a silver lining here but you're really fighting me on it. JUST LET ME LOVE YOU.
I rate it 5/5 mamma mia's
looks delicious to me, mind you I've never had pecan pie so I can only go by aesthetic.
π/π
Bruh, anything with pecans gets an instant 8/10 from me. But looks like you put a lot of work in so I'll bump it to 9/10
we are definitely experiencing pie
I would devour that. Doesn't matter that the pecans aren't in a perfect layer on top. It's easily visible that you made a homemade crust.
Sometimes the imperfections are what makes it good. This is 100% not an AI pie (a^iπ^?) or even a mass-market pie.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Pecan Pie Enjoyer Gang reporting in
Would, 10/10, no notes.
I love pecan pie, this looks so good. Rating a solid 10/10, would eat.
I'd rate it a 7/10, crust looks nice, few small Performance Indicators along the back of the pan and in the filling, but otherwise passes inspection for a class 2 (J-STD) pie with flying colors.
Sorry im allergic :(
allergic to arguably my favorite tree nut that blows I am so sorry for you. there's nothing better than getting a nut cracker and sitting in front of a bowl of shelled pecans your neighbor harvested from their pecan tree and gave to you for free & just going to down. used to be an after-school activity for me while I watched Kyle XY, the hit ABC Family show
allergic to pies

hello are you single i could use a pecan pie making kinda fella like you
exterior looks good, can we get a cross section?
The exterior was the only redeeming part I think. The crust, perfect. The top? Pretty good.
Interior kinda is mid imo. I'm not sure if it is the recipe I used (the 'no corn syrup' pecan pie my grandmother taught me) or if I actually somehow managed to overcook it but it is both very close to what I remember and yet so far. (I haven't had this specific pecan pie in almost two decades though so
)

I think my biggest mistake was putting 1/2 of crushed pecans into the filling. I distinctly remember my grandmother doing this, but I can only assume she was doing deep-dish pies and that's why mine turned out like it did. Or maybe I should have cut back on the butter, as evident from the pie dish....maybe I shouldn't bake while blitzed actually
does anyone even like pecan pies
Yeah it's a solid 7/10 type of pie tbh.
Great pie .Would eat
yim yum
