Hopefully someone who is better informed on the topic can confirm or deny, but, isn't gas being down (ignoring that it apparently is all of one cent cheaper) a really bad sign for the health of the economy?
Also, every time he said it was $4.50 a gallon, there was nowhere in the US that had gas as high as $4.50 a gallon.

Trump has understood that economists spend a lot of time and effort to fake numbers. But since he is Trump, he doesn't have to be believable to be believed by his base. So why not just lie all the time?
