To me no fireworks seems like an actual reasonable HOA demand but we need an exception for every area with US vets
Banning fireworks should be a municipal thing, not neighborhood-by-neighborhood. Doesn't help you if your neighborhood's HOA bans it but the one on the other side of your fence doesn't.

That's some of it. The other part is the donor class was annoyed by the air traffic mess. Plus it's a certainty they weren't happy that the skies were getting more and more unsafe by the day.
